<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">Chester Shuller tells the
following story:<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">A big Chicago cop paused one day
and looked suspiciously at the fellow across the street, who stood with bared
head, closed eyes and moving lips. His face was turned toward an obscure
looking old building.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">“Either sick or drunk,” Pat, the
cop, decided. “Maybe nuts, in the bargain.”<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">Ambling over to the man, Pat
touched him on the shoulder. “What’s the matter Mac? Not feeling good or
something?”<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">The man opened his eyes. He
smiled. “Feeling fine, officer.” Seeing the officer’s puzzled look, he
continued: “You see, I was converted in that little, old building when it was a
mission. And I never pass here without taking off my hat and saying “Thanks” to
God. I met the Lord Jesus in there, Officer. My name is Billy Sunday.” </span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Pat grinned and reached a big
hand. “Put ‘er there, Bill!” he said. “I’ve heard about you. Now look, you keep
right on with your praying and I‘ll keep the crowd away.”</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">How often do you stop and just
say “thanks” to God for your salvation. On July 23rd, 1972, as a 16 yr. old boy
at North Calvary Baptist Church in Philadelphia, MS, Jesus came into my heart.
I am so very grateful for the salvation I have.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">I want to be sure and thank my
Lord for the sacrifice He made on Calvary for me. He paid the penalty of death
for me. He through His death has given me pardon and forgiveness of sin.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>(1 Thess. 5:18)</span></b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"> “<i>In everything give thanks”</i><o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We are living in unprecedented
days. We are making decisions on whether or not to close the church doors. Let’s
understand you can close the doors to the building. You can cease to meet
together on campus. As sad as that is, there is a great lesson to be learned.
The Church is not the buildings, the Church is not the campus. The Church is
the Believers, the People of God, the Born Again Christians, the Redeemed of
the Lord. We are the Church! Wherever you are the Church is there. So, in the
midst of this crisis with the doors of the building closed and the campuses
empty, what should we be doing?<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<b><i><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We should Point Unbelievers
to Christ<o:p></o:p></span></i></b><br />
<b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">(Luke 19:10)</span></b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"> <i>“for the Son of Man has come to seek
and to save that which was lost."</i> </span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">This was the priority for Christ, it
should be for us. We should always be ready to tell our story.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<b><i><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We should Encourage other
believers in their relationship with Christ<o:p></o:p></span></i></b><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">How important it is for us to lift
each other up. Be an encouragement to those in the family that are having troubles</span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"> in
the midst of this chaos. Speak life into people. Allow God to use you to
minister to those who cross your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. accounts.
Be the one who speaks or types an encouraging word in the name of Jesus.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"><br /></span>
<b><i><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We should Minister to those
in Need<o:p></o:p></span></i></b><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">The early New Testament church
was exemplary in this arena. They believed that as God blessed that they should
share with others. This is not “wealth distribution”, this is “grace
distribution”. As you can help your neighbors. <o:p></o:p></span><br />
<b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">(Acts 4:33-34)</span></b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"> <i>“And God’s grace was so powerfully at
work in them all <b>34</b>that there were no needy persons among
them.”<o:p></o:p></i></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">As God blesses you, Bless someone
else.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<b><i><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We should Be Salt and Light
in our community.<o:p></o:p></span></i></b><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">Jesus said the church is to be
the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We are to hold to our
convictions not with legalistic attitude, but with love. It is important that
as we stand, that our community see the Love of Jesus in us constantly. There is
never a time for the church not to love people.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">(Matthew 5:13-14)</span></b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"> <i>"You are the salt of the earth;
but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for
nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. You are the light
of the world.</i><o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><i><br /></i></span>
<b><i><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">We should Bring Glory to
the Father<o:p></o:p></span></i></b><br />
<b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">(Matthew 5:16)</span></b><span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"> <i>“Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.</i><o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="color: black; font-size: 13.5pt;">Let’s be the Church for the sake
of our Community (World).<o:p></o:p></span><br />
