Is there any Hope?

Job 3:25 For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.

Someone shared with me about an elderly man who was shopping, he was on an aisle where the shelves were empty. The gentleman seemed lost, like he was in a foreign land and did not know what to do.
Fear of the unknown brings about panic many times. This man might have felt some panic in his life. Because of panic over the virus they bought up all the items on the shelves.

We have no reason to be fearful unless our trust is not in the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Tim. 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

There was a story Years ago of an S-4 submarine that was rammed by a ship off the coast of Massachusetts. It sank immediately and the entire crew was trapped in a prison house of death. Every effort was made to rescue the crew; But all ultimately failed. A deep sea diver, who was part of the rescue crew thought he heard tapping on the steel wall of the sunken sub. He realized it was Morse code. He spelled out the message that was being tapped from within, it was repeating the same question; “Is there any hope?”

Many, today feel like they are in a hopeless situation.

In such a hopeless place, where do we go, how do we act and react.
Is there any Hope?

That is an age old question. Is there any Hope? Is there any Hope for our nation?
Is there any hope for our world?
Even though our world seems lost, there is hope.
Hope is not found in this world.
Hope does not come from new laws or rules.
Hope does not come from President, Congress, Courts, etc.
Hope does not even come from our military.
Hope does not come from our great Scientists.
The hope I speak about comes in the person of Jesus Christ.
In the midst of all the senselessness He gives hope.

Jeremiah 17:7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.

The old hymn says,
My Hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
but holy lean on Jesus name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand
all other ground is seeking sand.

If your faith and trust is not in the person of Jesus Christ, today would be a great day for you to receive His Salvation. Would you just ask him by faith to come into your life and save you.

May you experience the “Hope of Christ” today.
